Recently, HairPlaceNYC had the privilege of helping Julian, a young boy with alopecia, begin a new chapter.
After receiving a complimentary hair system through the amazing nonprofit Children With Hair Loss, his mother brought him to our New York City salon for the finishing touches that would make all the difference.
Our stylist, Elise Cole, who has dedicated over a decade to helping clients look and feel their best, carefully customized the hair system to fit his head perfectly. She then professionally permed, cut, and styled it to match his natural look, ensuring it felt comfortable, secure, and completely personalized.
By the time the appointment was finished, the transformation wasn’t just physical—it was emotional.
Julian’s mother couldn’t stop smiling as she saw her son looking like himself again. Julian shared that his new hair would help him enjoy summer vacation with confidence and make him feel ready to start the new school year.
